Default GP Patriot (It Flys)

well I took it to the field today and after several other flights
I decided it was time for the Patriot, Fired it up checked everything
set it on end of runway went full throttle then about 80 - 100 feet later it left the runway, i banked her right a little went up about
5 mistakes high, needed about 5 clicks of right ailiron and a touch of up. 10 minutes later i decided to see how she lands (all i can say is FAST) does not like to slow down like i'm used too.
I need to come in from about another 100 foot away than used too.
landing was fine just fast 3 point landing, adjusted the throws a little on ailirons and flew it again trims now centered, i flew a few circuits then came in for landing, a little better i started approach another 100 feet out this time perfect.
all i can say is wow flys like its on rails,
also this was the arf not the kit.

sorry so long just was wound up

will post some pics when i get home tomarrow after another day at the field.

What engine are you useing? I'm building one (kit) thats going to get a Jett 50. I'm gonna eliminate the intakes, ya know lets see how fast she'll go!!! I have all my other projects done so now I can put some time in on this one.

Congrats on a sucessfull first flight.

I've just got an os46 fx right now,
after i fly it a few more times and get
better at the quick landings, I'm going to
put the retracts back on, I had them on and
took them off, untill i got used
to the plane.

now if i could hurry up and get moved into my new house
I could get started on my H9 p51 60size arf.
I'm putting an os91 4 stroker on it.

here is a pic of patriot just before i installed the canopy

Looks good!! I'm not putting retracts on mine either, just because I fly off fairly rough grass. I wish I could find another patriot kit or better yet an arf, just incase....no for when I put mine in.
