The Kangke F20 is an okay plane. I am not a Rossi Fan although i have seen this engine on the plane and its "Okay" but nothing impressive. The Kobra is a neat plane. but the 40 LA is a great engine but no power. It is a sport engine. You want that thing to blow by the F-20, stick a 46fx, 50sx or Jett .50
Either way you need RPMs and a 9/7 or 9/8 prop will help

Default o.k

for the f-20: i don't understand, you dont like the plane or you don't like the engine?

so what engine do you suggest putting on the kangke f-20 instead of the rossi 53?

thank you

The Kange F-20 is a good flying plane (same as the
Cermark), and has no bad habits. I have a Rossi .45
long pipe in mine....and is plenty fast. It uses only
5% nitro....so that might be a consideration.

The Rossi would work good in the Kobra also....forget
the O.S. .40....not enough power.

Roy,

If do a search for Kobra, you may find my previous comments. But briefly, its a great flyer, but I thought its thick wing limited its speed potential. Mine had an fx46, tt46 on a macs pipe, and then jett 50. The tt was the best and a rocket, most likely because the long pipe moved the balance back. It was a brick with the jett; too much weight. Watch for flutter from the ailerons.

I think the secret with this plane is too keep it light. Expect an excellent pattern flyer that scoots along, but don't expect to set any speed records.
