Default Midget Mustang Info?

Does anyone know anything about this model? Power would be a ST90 on a Jett muffler.

Thanks,
Mark

It looks like my World Models MM. You'll get 100mph out of it, it's nice flying, not terribly fast though.

one of the best flying planes Ive had, looks beautiufl in the air , tracks better than a P-51 mustang and is impressively fast,
Mine was setup with a os 91 4-straoke sppinning a 12x10 prop, It was definitely a showstopper at my airfield, would definitely recomend it.

Hey Guys,

I've been busy and never got back to this thread.

buddude8, do you have any comments on the construction, areas you reinforced, anything like that? How is the covering?

jaunpipito, same questions to you on the quality and covering?

Edit - Does anybody have a finished weight? They claim 7.5lbs, is that realistic?

Thanks,
Mark

I bought it form airborne models (Us Distributor for world models inc) they have their own brand of covering which is actually pretty good, never had to reinforce anything and nothing ever fell off. I probably took it into 120 flight befor a mid-air totalled it. I dont' know if the house that your bbuying it from pays same attention to detail as world models, perhaps its the same plane. the wolr modesl one is a little bit more expensive in the 200 range If im not mistaken.

the wingmakers kit is a world models kit. the only reinforcements i did was strengthen up around the firewall from behind, and any of the main formers that looked like they lacked any glue. Finished weight with the jett90lx was just a tad under 8bls.

Well, I just ordered one so we will see how it looks when it arrives. This is my first EVER ARF, I feel like I just crossed over to the dark side! I would have bought a kit or plans built one, but I have never seen one available and I don't have the time right now to do a scratch design/build... And I want to fly it next spring!
