Jett-60LX
Jett-50
West-50
YS-45
Then the rest... I am a HUGE Rossi fan and I have owned, ran, and tested the Rossi-45 and 53 against all my other stuff. It was behind the Jett-50, West-50, and Webra-50GT. I am not here to rain on your parade (I do not care for speeds anyhow, it is about fun- See Speed Junkies posts) but I do not believe you hit 170 with that thing and a Rossi-53 and that set-up. Sorry---
My Patriot and Jett-50 w/ retracts, 9x9 apc maybe hit 120 on a good day----170? My Jett powered Whip never even hit that
a 10x7 is never gonna do much, a 9x9 is what I ran on my SJ-50 Powered Patriot(s) and it rocked. About 16.4 I think on the 9x9 apc

RE: PATRIOT AT 170 MPH !!!!!!!
Thank you very much by its acceptance and your comments .
It is pleasant to me that you liked the video.
It looks like after see the video clarified doubts (with exepcion of course )
I like fly my beby , the patriot is one of my favorite airplanes , some day I´ll building another and slightly modified but with a engine more powerfull I love the figure of patriot in the air [sm=thumbs_up.gif] and his performance at hi-speed .
Just how extra data , I reduce the leading edge of prop to reduce weight and drag , (to engine) perfectly balanced and simmetric blades , it takes to me near 2 hours to make this work, and I sweat the fat drop [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
If one day I want less drag, I apply wax of car all to my airplane , this it is another extra work, but it is worth the trouble , it works very well to my [sm=thumbup.gif]

It looks like Doppler agrees with your radar gun. [X(]

Prop pitch and RPM. It is simple arithmetic.
Ed S
Do you think the radar and Doppler are wrong?

Very, very nice Hector. Man that Rossi unloads in the air, just proves what the engine does on the ground by no means tells us the whole story.
Some radar can be fooled by reflections of the prop, but doppler gives you the preponderance of proof !
Congrats Hector!
