Default Landing Gear for a Wonder?

Hi. I had some issues with my Jett .35 on my Wonder, so I had to rotate my engine so it is now horizontal. This will keep the carb inline with the fuel tank and hopefully keep the engine from leaning out in the air.

My problem now is that the muffler is below the plane. So if I land, I'll be forced to land on the muffler. I'd like to avoid this by adding a skid plate or some landing gear.

Anyone out there put any gear on the Wonder.

Default RE: Landing Gear for a Wonder?

If you are on grass, It would not matter much to skid on muff, You can put a"whisker" wire or a wire loop on the centerline that acts as a skid.If on pavement. maybe look at a skid or single narrow wheel under plane a bit ahead of CG.
Good luck
