I'm looking into getting the Hobby People F86 propjet and have an OS 160fx to power it. Wondering what pipe/prop suggestions from people for all out speed for this bird. Some seem to like the Aeroslave pipe but it has tendency to knock loose the baffles. ES compsite also used by pattern guys. But I'm looking for high revs set up. Please give suggestions for apc prop and pipe for this propjet application.

That's a big engine, it's going to need more than just a pipe, it needs a bong.

The 160 is not really made for high revs like the smaller glow motors. With a good pipe and the right prop you might get 12000 rpm out of it but I would not push it past that. The engine makes most of its power below 10000.

Sorry about the confusion. I meant the F86 from Nitroplanes. Anyway, I heard that Bob spent a bit of time with the os160. May be he can give his 2 cents for pipe and props.
