Default Whiplash Fuel and Throttle problems solved

Well when I first flew my 7.5cc DF whiplash, it killed 2 throttle servos and so much foam/spash in the air the motor was not consistent. I yanked the tank out, glued the tank to a piece of 1/4" foam rubber then glued the foam to the tank floor. No more bubbles! I used a piece of inner nyrod as the throttle linkage and that fixed the problem.
I then turned up the heat a bit and propped the motor for more RPM, and now I think my receiver crystal or the entire receiver is dying. I get all sorts of servo inputs and one particular throttle setting, so it is obviously vibrtation induced. The receiver is WELL wrapped in foam, as is the battery, but it is 13 years old, but never crashed. I think it is simply wearing out.
