Default I need a fuel proof shaker can clear coat paint.

Sorry- No idea where to post this but it is for my Whiplash that I gave a make-over. What shaker can stuff would work well as a clear coat? The last stuff I used only managed to grab the fuel and turn it into a sticky mess.

Shake and spray!

Rustoleum (SP?) is great in colors, I never looked for clear though.

lusterkote .... just let it dry a few days.

Rustolium clear is not too bad, but keep raw fuel off of it as much as possible.

Krylon is not fuel proof at all.

I depends on what kind of paint you used first. Lacquer will dissolve cured enamel, but you can spray enamel over cured lacquer. I can't remember all of them. You might ask at a paint store that sells auto paint. They can probably tell you what is safe with what.

Blessings, Terry

Minwax polyurethane"fast drying". Yes it now comes in rattle cans but don't believe the part about it drying quick... excellent fuel proof clear coat.
