2 Jett .60lx's what to do.
I have two Jett .60 lx's and want to make a go fast twin. My thoughts so far are to kit bash a Ultra Sport .60 into a twin, or go the scale route and design something like a Westland Whirlwind looking airframe. Any suggestions?

Thats not bad idea but there may be other sport twins around that won't be so much effort. I had often thought of the WM P-82 twin mustang. Thing is to streamline it. No canopy and smooth over the cockpit. Would look pretty slick. Guy here has one with a pair of 46fs and its a mover at 5000ft.

why not a comet twin very good lines and designed for OS 45/46's does 100 or so with them in it. make it light and should get 140 or so with the lx's. If something fast is wanted how about a push pull design with a balsa bandit wing and twin tail booms. this could make it to around 150+ pretty easy if not faster. the balsa bandit wing is made for turbines so you know it will handle anything those LX's will/can throw at it

Get a pair of those beautiful Strega fuselages, one wing set, a center rib template, then make your own center section and tail feathers, and off you go.. a full race P-82. Couldn't think of anything cooler looking! Have fun with the airbrush while yer at it.
