I have been frustrated by the difficulty in locating plans or kit for a diamond dust, or waiting for the diamond dust arf to come out and how knows when that will be...I saw this design on another web sight and plans were posted so this is it....The skin is coroplas everthing else is balsa or ply...A speed 36 Webra with ultrathrust muffler should really make her move out....3.2 pounds dry is the wieght... Maiden to come after CG and test engine run up is performed... She turned out nice so I thought I would share.....Gofastz

Maiden flight was a scream...Do to CG considerations I swapped out the webra for a 40 rossi with ultrathrust race version muffler.....Speeds were around 130, 140 mph...She really blistered the sky....I might have 20 dollars in the airframe....This thing flies like a OUTLAW....Landings were a tad fast but, it's built like a tank and handled it easily....I ran 9x7apc and snapped it on one of my landings as it didn't get out of the way....When I swapped it with a 9x6apc the plane got faster....I mean really faster....Motor started screaming.....Launches were a breeze.... If you want to have some fun and not spend much I highly recommend one of these....Materials $20..... 3 servo's $36...40 rossi $130.....fuel tank $5......Battery pack $20...... RX $50......Some glue and linkages $10...$271 total... Go 130 mph or faster.....Can't beat it..... Gofastz

I am waiting for the ARF version to come out. How many rpms do you get out of the rossi 40, what prop, % nitro, weight?

i might cover balsa or fill w/ foam and cover epoxy carbon fiber. Did it on other plane, works well. Not that strong of a plane otherwise...

Here is the link to Chris's site for the DDust...Sorry it took me so long to respond as I have been away....This is the plans page....

http://www.chrisspad.com/planes/main...t/gallery.html

The 40 rossi with a 9x7 apc turns 17500 static with a ultrathrust.... I'm running 15% coolpower....Though 10% would have been fine......The weight was 3.2 pounds.....When we flew her that day I didn't get her real close to us....dopplerosscope showed 132 mph and several other confirmed that....One other thing....I used lite ply instead of coroplas for the control surfaces....It was to keep the chance of flutter from happening...Same with the tail feathers....Gofastz

You guys need to check out the Bulldawg......Super easy to build.......More stable flight.....Extreme Speed!!!!!.....I made mine with ply wing fins.....36 webra, tuned pipe......Nice Delta Design.....Here is the forum link.....
