Ooh, this looks interesting
It is hard to tell from the pictures on these sites, but it looks to have only a moderately thick airfoil - maybe 12%? - and I like the planform. I wonder if a pair of Sport Jett .50's would qualify it for this forum, or would it need more power (what doesn't)?

Twin 50 LX engines should make this thing scoot if not tooo draggy. Naturally two 60LX's would be a tad better in MHO, they are same size and approx. weight. Regardless be sure you get the LX model of either, its good for another 1500 rpm or so. ENJOY PS: A 12% wing is very thin compaired to the usual 18% or so.

12% was a guess. I would guess 15-20%. I would also think a duellist would be a better choice for speed.

All the wing root pictures are at an angle, so I was of course guessing at the thickness. It looked like either a thicker symmetrical or medium thick "semi" symmetrical, but the resolution wasn't good enough. Or my eyesight, which is more likely the case.

EDIT: p.s. plus, the color scheme is pretty snazzy, even to a Canuck. Gee, [sm=bananahead.gif] I wonder to which major RC product consuming nation the color scheme was designed to appeal?

SpeedBoy, a wing with a 10 inch chord and 2 inch thickness would have a 20% thick airfoil. The fastest models that I've paid attention to have 8% airfoils.
The payback in speed with twins just isn't there. I think the best application for twins in models is simple fun.

Uhmm ....... okey I notice it was a guess hehe but we suppose that we have the wing in our hands , what measured we need to take to get the % ??? for example in this case MJD is talking from a 12 % and Mike about 15-20% that percentage from what ???.
I'm trying to figure out what % does have draggy Airplanes like Patriot and Shrike .

Quite true! I don't think for a minute this is a contender in the world of RC speed. Rather, it's just a snazzly looking twin that could probably be coaxed to move along with excess power. And it's an ARF..
