PATRIOT "pics" T-45 Goshawk, Jett 50
Just finished my Patriot
NAVY T-45 Goshawk scheme.. Ultracote
Jett 50 9x8 apc
Springair Retracts
BVM wheels and brakes
Flaperons
12oz fuel tank
Custom made air intakes to cut drag
Just broke in the engine,, I'll fly it next weekend

Verrry Nice! What did you use to cover? Glass or Mono/Ultra cote? Do I see brakes on those wheels? Who's are they, what size and what kind of dollars did they run you?

What is it with y'all-
Every Patriot I see looks better than mine and has a Jett-50 on it! 
The brakes would be a hoot- Although my Patriot with split-flaps lands at about 10MPH

That's a pretty excellent covering job for ultracote... lots of curves! Are you worried about the proximity of the silencer to the fuse behind the engine? Vibration & heat next to the ultracote?
Be VERY careful with the flaperons... when flying slow, using them with the required large movement input often causes a tipstall. Check this forum under "flaprons" and you'll see some really interesting experience. A tipstall on final 30' above the ashphalt generally is not recoverable... ask me how I know!

Yea I'm hearing the same about the flaperons,, It seemed like a good idea at the time,,, I had them in a Spectrum I once had,,they worked ok...
Maverick, The pilot is a williams brothers jet pilot, my first pilot paint job.
I left off the yellow visor,, and I custom made that oxygen mask.
I used plumbers epoxy, it comes in a stick of black and white putty
when you mix it turns grey.. I mixed some up, rolled it into a little ball and squished it on the pilots face and formed it to look like a mask,, in 20 minutes it was hard as a rock,, I cut a radiator hose off of one of my sons toy cars,,,drilled a 1/8 hole in the bottom of the mask and stuck the hose in with a drop of ca.
I took the mask off the head painted it black and put it back on the head with a drop of CA. Done....
