Default Madeira Racer at Joe Nall

Saw a BIG Lancair clock 237 mph on a demo flight at the Joe Nall fly-in. Big engine on alcohol. High pitch prop (28x27?). Anybody know what engine that thing had in it? That thing really rocked!

Engine is a 200cc Aerrow twin, the prop is probably a 22x27 carbon fiber turning in the neighborhood of 10.000 rpm...
If you want to see more of these racing around pylons check out usrainfo.org...put a www in front....
