How about a Juno RC F-18 with OS 55AX and Jett muffler? [8D]

available kits:

Juno R/C F-20 or F-18 kits (Juno now produces the old line of Direct Connection kits)

The F-20 is a personal favorite of mine.... flew very well.

(the F-18 - Im not sure if the OS55 would be as effective on this plane as it was on the F-16 build... F-18 has a lot of frontal area to overcome)

AKM Models Su-27 or Mig-29

Often hard to find but otherwise good kits:

Patriot 40 (well documented on performance goals)
Patriot XL (also well documented - grab one while a few are available - being discontinued)
GP F-14 Tomcat
GP F-4 Phantom

GP aircraft F-18 - nice project, but pusher configuration can be a challenge.

Plans:
Look up Funkworks on here... Rene has plans for his F9F Panther and I think also for the T-45 (nice aircraft).

ARF:
Cermark F-16, F-18

Photos of a few of these suggestions......

Not enough engine for that to fly decent. 90's are better. F-20 would be a better choice. Throw a Jett 50 up front along with retracts and you'll be good to go!

There is a very long build thread somewhere in the extreme speed forum.
