Magnum Clocked
Well guys I finally got my magnum clocked on Memorial Day. We had a hard time hitting it in the dive or coming right at us out of the dive because it is so small but we were able to hit it in the turn after the dive going away from us. 188 and 186 consistently. SUPER FAST! I bet it was hitting 200 in the dive. I am running the west engine turning an 8x8 APC prop. I am very happy with the kit and the engine and just wanted to share my good news with all of you! Keep um turning !

Speed
Sounds about right. I've personally witnessed Syd C. do multiple high-speed passes with his Magnum 20 feet away no more than five feet off the deck and it is really something to see. He figures he is doing around 175 to 180.
I have seen his 200 mph Whiplash, confirmed by radar and GPS, and the Magnum is just a tad slower.
