Look for a Sig Wonder or a Lanier Shrike 15.Both are not currently in production, but can still be found.
With a .15 La, it will not be a missile but will still can be exciting!

The Joystick comes to mind as a plans built model - it's basically a .15 sized Quickie 500 as I recall. Or maybe a .10 size and people used .15's I dunno, but I saw one fly on a Taipan .15 and it hustled. I've seen a SIG Hummer on an FAI combat .15.. that's a bit much!

The only problem is that the LA .15 ain't exactly a go-fast engine. But it will fly an airplane smartly.

Maybe try to find a lanier dominater 200. !\2 A size Q-200 model. Yes, LA engines do not equate to much speed though. Sorry.

They'll run harder with the OS control line venturi. I've compared the LA to the CVA and there is very little difference with timing...actually I could not see any difference. The Q200 model and a 7x5 prop sound like a good plan.

a stock La should turn a apc 7x5 at 18,500-18,800. with some engine work 20,000 is not to far away.

I have a old fp 15 on a 220sq" mes 109 and it does 119 with muffler with no dive. all the guys at the club hate it when i take it up against there bigger planes and i only use 2 ounces of fuel

Those aren't bad numbers for a plain jane .15. I have an old FP .15 too, and I love it, darn thing just doesn't quit.

You can still get a Wonder from [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFG10&P=7]Tower[/link]. I am currently building one, but I plan of using an OS 15 CV-A.

I have heard that these fly like crazy with a .15 on them.

Something to keep in mind for these sorts of things - Jett has a new 4 ounce slim tank, good for skinny .15-.25-ish models. That's an FP .15 infront of it, and a regular 4 ounce Jett tank beside. One is for my Doubler, which also gets the OPS Speed .15 that Santabay just delivered.

I have flown the small Pica P-51 and Shrike 10 with a .15
The Pica was a little faster but much harder to land. The Shrike flies real nice. To make it real fast though, it needs more engine like a .25

my first wonder had a 15FP on it very agile but not very fast looked fast tho.
my last wonder had a .15 CVwas a lot faster.

LA is light but not a speed motor.

sell it buy the CV or an old Conquest .15 (Cox or K&B)

I flew a Sterling Mini-Fledgling (Jr. Falcon, same basic thing) on a Max .15 with venturi many years ago. Went like a bat for a few flights, then I fluttered the elevator off. No throttle, reeee-aaaa-rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr SMASH into a dead tree. It was great.

Nose into the turf.[:@] just too much weight to balance the short airframe.

I have had .25 FP & .25 FX in them the FX moved out.

A friend had OS .32SX it was a burner too.

Wonders are awesome with a 32SX ... hehehehe ... I hear at times the engine can go faster than the plane ... you see the firewall and tank trailing along too!

What would be cool is a small version of Angel's Rifle with a sheet balsa wing.
