I have been using RC car in one of my speed projects. I was using 35% nitro (forgot the brand) car fuel in my half-a speed plane.

The fuel as I bought it had only 12% oil content, most of it was synthetic. The engines I am running like a much higher oil content such as 20%, and they like castor. For that reason, I bumped the oil content up by adding an appropriate amount of Byron's oil to bring the oil up to 20%. This did drop the Nitro %, but that was OK.

The biggest difference in car fuel compared to plane fuel is the oil. Very few car fuels have more than 16% oil so your engines aren't going to last as long but may make a little more power.
