Default Fast .45 needs a home

A good friend of mine and expert pilot is looking for a Fast .45 size plane for a very quick .45 engine with a pipe he modded. I know he likes the Patriot but I understand it is discontinued . Any suggestions?

You should be able to find a Patriot kit around pretty easily. Juno RC has a F-20 thats pretty cool or they also offer the Tsunami for old skool ballistic pattern.

Any Q500 would be a good speedster too.

I think I may have talked him into an F-20 from JunoRC. It looks very slippery. Should be a good match to a hot .45. Especially if kept light.

If you keep it light you should be good for 100-110 if the motor is as good as you say.

Well Mr. Borgnine, I think the Zoomer here is a great looking model. As I have the link on my clipboard from just posting it on another thread, here it is: [link=http://www.matneymodels.com/q500.html]Matney Models Q500 page[/link].

Not an ARF, but a pretty simple model to construct. There are a few of these zipping around with Jett FIRE .50s and the like according to the mfg.
