Cermark F20-40 size
Hey all,
I just painted up my F-20 to look like an F-5 in the Norwegian Airforce Tiger scheme. Although I don't have the Sidewinders finished and the Tiger on the tail yet, it's looking great and flies like a rocket with wheels.
I have a Morris/Rossi .45 spinning 16,400 rpms with an APC 10 x 6 and the stock mini-pipe.
I've put two successful fllights on it and it's a real screamer.
Got it for $126 off ebay and stripped off the ultracote, glassed it and monokoted the wing and stab. Picked up the engine from a fellow RCUniverser for $100 and we're off to the proving grounds!!
All up weight is 5 lbs. 11 oz. so it's a hot-ship !!!
Got some great advice from Flyboy Dave and FlyRcJets..thanks guys.
This pic is the Norwegian F-5. Considering there were only three f-20's made and none of them with an interesting paint scheme, we're thinking outside the box on this one!
