Default GP Revolver, Magnum XLS 91, Macs pipe, Complete noob = Help me!

Not a noob to speed but noob to anything fast that's nitro and not foam. Had the 55AX on my Revolver months ago and was pretty disappointed of couse. Finally decided to dust her off and got a Magnum XLS .91 and will be ordering a Macs header and pipe this week. Looks as though the same header for the OS 91FX will fit but getting it under the fuse may be another story.

If anyone cares to help a noob, I have a question or two for now and maybe more later.

1. Should I break in this new engine with the stock pipe and then set up the Macs on it or should I break it in with the Macs and then tune the header after break in?

2. Has anyone ordered the Special application headers from Macs with the bend in it that places the pipe under the center of the fuse?

More questions will come, I'm sure but that's it for now. The break in is what I'm mostly curious about.

Thanks,
Evvy

....you can break-in the engine with the tuned pipe, no problem.

You will probably have to use the medium bend head pipe to get the pipe
clearance you will need. This is the medium bend on this plane.

Thanks for the reference pic. What size engine is that?

I didn't realise the pipe was so BIG! I like it!

....that's an older OS 90 engine. The pipe is a 15cc, not much bigger than
the 60 size pipe (10 cc)....just a bit fatter.
