Default I need some directions.

I've got a Kangke F3D sitting here in the shop that was started and flown by the owner some years back. I'm thinking about squeezing a Nelson SS in there for my Speed Rally in June.
There are no landing gear nor instructions. I'm hoping someone out there might be able to hook me up with at least the instructions.

Thanks

1. Pack it carefully in a large box.

2. Put my address on it.

3. Mail it to me.

4. Wait for the thank you card.

Someone had to do the dumb answer..

Well, that combo ought to move if you get it together! I hope I can make it. Started a little .15 speed thingy this past week.

Frank has sent enough to get me started[sm=wink_smile.gif]

When MJD gets half of the 4378.24 projects he has started complete and flown I'll consider his request. Untill then it's more likely to see the air this season in my hands[8D]. Nothing personal of course

Some guys moved the landing gear on to the wing. I had one years ago, very smooth in the sky. Hauls with an OS 32 or Webra 35 on pipe. Lands a bit hot and it will be real bouncy with the stock LG location. Killed mine before I had a chance to move the LG.

I think I remember the moulds for this plane were lost in a fire in China about 5 years ago.

Vicman I have one that I found new in the box that I am finishing up for this spring. I changed out the stock landing gear for a set off of a viper. Got a set off good wheels from Dub and ordered a pipe for my webra 36. I am hoping this thing hauls. By the way you can download the book [link=http://www.kangkeusa.com/instructions/F3D-30%202nd.pdf]here.[/link]

Thanks!
I've got a few sets of gear similar to the Viper and plenty of wheels. I like your idea.

Hey, watch it! The truth hurts!

I'll have you know [sm=sleeping.gif] that in the last few weeks I have completed two ukies, a lekkie (Blasphemy?! No.. I have a community center behind my yard, I need stuff to fly there too although I did manage a few STOL flights with a US40 and a SweetnLow Stik), a rubber powered sheet bipe for a nephew, nearly finished a Robbe Puma I'm building for a buddy, and what else..

But as far as significant or important projects go.. well, I'm trying..

MJD

Bob,
I think I'm going to try some of the quickie gear I have laying around and set it back in the wing as recomended. Say the axle point even with the LE like most low wingers?[sm=rolleyes.gif]

Just far enough back so that it won't pull it over on the nose too easy on take off is all you need. I have an LR-1 but the Kangke F3D was faster and smoother, I miss that plane.[sm=cry_smile.gif]
