I got a Sig Kobra about a year ago and have been flying it for a little under a year. I took the turtledeck off and made it a taildragger. The kit calls for a .35 sized engine max and I stuck a Thunder Tiger .46 in it. The top speed on it over 128MPH! Its a pain to take off cause if you don't get enough airspeed it will snap. I did about six snaps one time just trying to take it off and recovered. That was scary.
I would attach a picture but it keeps saying the file is too big. Does anybody know how to make the file smaller without making the picture any smaller. The file size right now is 251KB.

If you have Phototshop or something just reduce the resoulution down to 72 pixels/inch. That will make the file smaller without making the pic smaller and still look fine on a computer screen.

kobra with ys45
i am building a sig kobra (the .35 size kit) and plan to put a ys 45 2-stroker in it and make it go fast.
any advice you want to share about how yours flies with the tt46? why does it have trouble getting speed on takeoff, or did you mean it does that on landing?
also curious why you made it a taildragger instead of sticking with the trike setup
