Just a few more evening's of duct tape and glue and she will be ready to roll. Don't make that face when you look at my ride! Where is your faith?
I might be twice as fast when finished!

Dude, he drug the rudder for at least 15' before anything else even came close to touching the dirt. I wish I could land that smooth on wheels![8D]

I decided to try one of my Vicmodded worn out TT .40 former race engines before I fit the Nelson in there. Revvers beware

Yeah the TT seems a bit ah Unvic-like.... nothing like some good old positive peer pressure.

Yeah a bit long drive considering I can't find my way out of the fog.

Can you imagine the heckling if he shows up with that instead of a properly powered aircraft, after all the wheedling and coercion to get people to come..? Hmm, I have an old OS .35 Max, mebbe I should drop that in the Demon and bring 'er down.

I will have a proper engine in there don't worry a bit![8D]

You guys would all kill to have that .40, trust me! I did a little tweaking and got it to spin a 9X8 around 17K after the engine was toasted from racing. Don't ask what I did since the racing hood gets real touchy about people making mods to a motor. It runs way out of line to ever attempt to put on into a race.

The last thing any of the racers in my area ever want to do is cheat on a motor, especially now that I'm back working in a real shop again, an instant schooling in how to do an engine would hit hard.

You are little ahead of me Mike. I guess I'm going to have more than Evan to worry about this year.

Kmot, Not to worry, the previous occupant of that space was an MVVS .28 and I was just shoving this engine in there to see what I would need to cut to make it fit. I was so proud I just snapped a pic once the flange cleared the glass. I need to do some dremel surgery on the mount and add screws.

Cause neither one of us has a chance of breaking two bills (yeah, I just told you that you can't do it) this year and with your speeds last year I wanna be up as high as possible this year. If Mike gets his engines running right followed by Seth I could end up being an "also ran".

It's fun to see the ideas bouncing around already with people plottin...er...planning around this event. Don't forget to go to the website to review set-ups from last year.

Cmon out and bring your aircard. I'd be happy to have you out here buddy. I've already got my hands full doing the event and keeping up with what comes next but your idea would be cool.

I can see it now 5 hours of youtube with guys blowing by the gun and my bad jokes.

If there is enough interest (4 or more) we may do a 1/2a demo race after the speed runs are done.

Not that I am planning to attend but I was wondering who is showing up and whatcha bringing?

Not that I am planning on bringing them since I'm not planning on going but I've got my electric Cyclone and Escape and fuel powered Twin Outlaw and Verano Special F3D charged and sitting in the garage, not sure why but they are.... hmmmmm......

Oh and the Electrodust came down too for some reason, maybe it was lonely...

I might be happy to see you tomorrow
The suprise won't be done, I'm just now getting back down to the shop and doubt I'll have enough time to get it finished with all the other stuff that needs to be squared away for tomorrow.

We are looking forward to another excellent event, I really hope as many East Coast Revvers and speed freaks in general can make it out.

Vic
