Default Canada Day is coming!

Canada Day is almost here. C'mon celebrate with us, drink a 24, light fireworks, and eat a beaver.

If she can't split a cord of wood per day and kick start a Harley when it's -10 degrees, what good is she?

You're right of course, but up here they have to be able to suck a golf ball through 50 feet of garden hose before we take a second look.

Oops, shame on me.. [sm=rolleyes.gif]

I've split a lot of wood in my day for much less[8D]

Does kickin an old CB 750 count for anything? Maybe I'll just hold out for a bump start

Bump starts are for.. um.. I won't say it. Oh but hey, if she's pushing, well that's okay. How old's the CB? My buddy and I rode together tons in '81-'82, me on my shiny new RD350LC, him on a '78 CB750K. It still runs, you can't kill those things. Quite buxom for a 750, or perhaps more "traditional" proportions like them old nude paintings where everyone's skin is chalk white and they point sideways at each other.

Hey LFinney, summer's here, and my big sis calls those bathing suits the girls wear these days "crotch floss" [8D]..

It was my first skoot a 73 with 2in1 shorties for the strip, hog wheel and appropriate gearing. After 20+ years I got it back about 4 years ago. It needs a good resto but she's all there.
I had an RZ 350 for a little while is that anything? I've just always been more into the big bore rides.

It certainly is! One notch up the evoluntioary scale for you with that confession.

The RD was my first new bike, and my first street bike. And there have been few niftier first (or third or..) street bikes IMHO - enough power to be a hooligan but not to get in over your head, too soon anyhow, and for the day excellent handling in a $2950 bike. I dream of this and that bike, but the expense has always been secondary to other things, much as I love them, so my rides have been modest but entertaining. As in the now very retro '85 RZ350R I picked up a couple of years ago, with something like 6200 km on the engine, a brand new frame and a couple of accessories like Toomey pipes and Fox shock. Runs great, upsets the neighbors and scares their dogs, and is a heck of a fun ride in the nice twisties we have in our little valley nearby. Not a trekking bike though, esp. as I don't handle the riding posture as well these days what with arthritis in all the bits that need to bend to mount a bike, and this has Tarozzi rearsets which results in a nice aggressive riding posture but me bones, back and legs make it feel like riding in the fetal position. Not whining though, it's all good! Actually this bike is chronologically about perfect to make me think I'm 21 again and even stupider than I am now.

For some reason my buddy always wants to ride in front in the straights.. and what is that mist on his glasses?

She doesn't appear to be too fit, does she [:-]? C'mon honey, show the guys how you can crack a coconut between your thighs..

By our standards, she's only an 8 btw. We can't show you anything higher than that, those are controlled goods.
