Default OS .25 VRDF rpm's for Shrike .10

Playin' with my OS .25 VRDF today, getting it ready for my Shrike .10, and with a 7-6 APC I was getting 22 500 rpm with the wizard pipe, does that sound about right?
It sure sounds good.

On paper it works out to 127 mph, so if the model doesn't live up to that you'll at least have some fun trying different props. What does the engine baseline at with this prop and open exhaust?

Is this a pre-tuned system for D/F? If the system isn't tuned yet, you want the system to at least be able to outperform what it runs at with open exhaust. The RPM boost from the pipe actually needs to be much greater than what it does with open exhaust, or else it isn't worth the extra weight and drag to lug around.

Its a pre tuned pipe for that engine in a fan unit, shorter than a full pipe.

you wont see the full rpm gain until you are airborne and is this a new engine as well?, fly it! it should turn better than 25k rpm in air closer to 26-7k....

Its broken in, so it runs really sweet, nice transition and idle is awesome it'll sit there and idle all day, yeah I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Yes, it's for the old Kress RK-20 fan unit that was used in the old school Midwest Jetster. I had the same engine & pipe combo on a Diamond Dust over a decade ago. Great combo!

Yeah I originally had it in a F-86 kit by HOB, fk-20 fan unit, it was alright but not really very fast, sold the plane, kept engine for this type of application, can't wait.
