engine to use on outlaw
Just ordered a extreme flight outlaw and was wondering what engine to use. I have a Y.S 45 rear exhaust but was wondering if it would add to much weight.

I really like the YS, but it's way too heavy if you want to do the stunts that the Outlaw was designed for.
A Webra 36 and a Macs tuned pipe is hard to beat. OS 32 and tuned pipe is OK.

The fastest outlaw I've seen fly was electric and pushing 180 MPH. I think Jett motors are great but the price is out of my range for this size of power

I'm with freakingfast, Don't really care for a speed demon I have other planes for that more in to the stunts this plane can do. I was thinking about the o.s 35ax but heard it doesn't turn the rpms like the sx

Found a used o.s 37 heli engine, be here in a few days. What would be the best choice for a muffler, leaning towards a mac tune pipe.

I have a TT39 heli with the head fins turned down. It's strong, but the down side is it's very thirsty so the flights were too short for my liking. I removed the head gasket to raise the compression and reduced the nitro from 30% to 10% that helped a bit in fuel consumption and the power is about the same. If I had a do-over I'd get the Webra 36.
I hope you don't need to take that OS to AA meetings.
Macs tuned muffled pipe is what I'd use on that 37.
Yeah CP, the Jett may be the big hp dawg. It's a few bucks$$$$ but it does come with a tuned muffler.
