need for speed sundowner question
Hey guys. I fly mainly precision, 3d 100cc aerobats.. Just for somthing a bit different I have a major need for speed. I used to own the sundowner 50 and loved it.. it flew on a rail and what I loved about it most was the shoulder wing design and how true it was in manuevers. I have been looking at the sundowner 80" f1. Generaly speaking it should fly better as it is a larger airplane. Just curious as to how simialar it will fly to the little one. I sold the sundowner 50 to help fund an exterme flight 110" yak and mainly fly the bigger ones now. I also have an os gemini 300 ft 50cc four stroke twin. It weighs about 4 lbs. Which is only a smidge more than a da50 or evo 35 with the muffler and ignition. The os runs sweet and would sound awesome. How would this setup work out?? Thanks, chad.

Well I think the wing loading would raise alot with that engine, so could could give it some extra momentum.! Hope you got a long runway for the run on just in case.
As for vertical performance, i have no idea.
What prop would you intend to run?

Unless you jacked the up the wheels a 20" would have trouble with ground clearance i feel.
Small diameter and high pitch for it to unload in the air
