Geezzzzz!
About took the guy's head off.
I wonder what would have happened to the guy if the plane was doing over mach 1.1?

Definitely LOW and FAST [8D] but not an F-18...

Gonna haveta take another look to see just what type A/C it is.

Edit: Looks like maybe a Harrier?

it defiantly looks like a Harrier with those intakes but the tail looks a little low but I think it is.

Should be a balloon next to his head that sez "Excuse me now while I go change my shorts!"[sm=what_smile.gif]

Yeah, that's a classic.

Wheels on the water: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDDBbmedrgk
A local pilot is under investigation for doing the same thing in a small lake in a gated community near here. I know that lake and it is small and is rimed with oak trees. That was nuts!

There will be an air show over my house 9/10 thru 9/13 (including practice). For some reason most turn points and flybys(jets) end up a few hundred feet over my house for three years running and I don't expect this year to be any different. So low I can see the pilot & cockpit and feel the sound in my chest. Best seat in the house is my front yard LOL. Folding chair, cool brewski's, brats cooking on the barbie and sunscreen......heaven!
My favorite is the F-22 pulling up in full afterburner than doing the flip followed by the falling left & right flat spins, all the while two dozen car alarms are sounding and animals seeking shelter. Just too cool for words

Nobody was hit here, but I just like it. Just looks like they're all having a blast.

BTW this website has a huge gallery of aviation videos, and a lot of obscure stuff - scope it out. Favorite of mine.

yah...the camera which was probably on a cart or mounted somehow shook like hell ...the guy didn't even flinch.

I'm thinking he was videotaped after the fact.

Humm, im not sure. It does look like a harrier and the RAF love low and fast, they are masters of it.

It could well be that after you see this video, that they have mastered not flinching.

I have been buzzed by a P51 a half a dozen times over the years. The last time he was at 20 ft above my head; he was low. The lowest I have seen was a guy at the airport with an RV4 with retracts did a low pass at the same hight as if his wheels were touching; it looked more like a model than a real plane he was so low. Prop no more than 2 ft above the ground.
