Default Oakdale Aircraft still in business?

Anyone know if Oakdale Aircraft is still in business? I have tried to contact them by e-mail for over two weeks. I want to get a Phenom. I know there are other Delta wings out there, but I really like the composites. Wish ACM still sold the Whiplash.

you might want to consider the dd.or the screamon demon.reason being.the phenom is very heavy.hard to hand launch.unless your using a 11.5 prop.mabey take a dd and sheet the wing

Is it any harder to launch or heavier than a Whiplash? Had a Whiplash with a Jett 50 with a 8.75x8 on it that hand launched great.

I can't say with much certainty, as I never owned a Phenom, but do a search in this forum for some reviews on it. There was at least one that seemed to fly well, and at least one that never flew after many attempts because he couldn't get it to pull past initial launch.

I think they were coming out pretty heavy.

yes the whip launches great! the phenom is way heavy.but it does look very cool.you must have a landing gear or a long prop.but that will kill your top speed

LOL

Mine launched pretty easily even with just an OS-50SX. Was a little heavier than the Whiplash but I really liked mine- I was sad to see others having issues but wear it as a badge of courage that I got mine airborn and it flew great!

Cheers

I can see how launches would be tough with a small prop for all out speed - it took a few seconds and a parabolic arc before it got air under the wings. What prop was that, a 10xsomething?

That's a great video! The lake looks like scenery from the Moon. The plane has all those colors standing out and the camera man tracked it like a pro.
Is this the same product that a guy from Scandinavia showed here last year with a OS.90?

Not sure Combatpigg-

I think the prop was a 10x7 APC (??)

Vicman was the videographer and he did a good job-

Cheers
