I'd leave the final placement of the wing open until all the major components are built and fully installed.
I'll bet the wing ends up further back, which would leave some room for a fuel tank.

I'd agree that the wing may be too far foward, and the fuse may be too long.

Looks neat though.

The drawing on the right shows that it has 2 fins at the end of the stab, the drawing on the left shows a single fin on the fuse. If you are going to use a single fin I would increase the size of the fin or I suspect you will see the fuse hunting in a straight line. I'd shorten the wheel pants up by half too, they look a little odd being nearly the same length as the root chord of the wing. For a speed plane I'd shorten the fuse and move the wing back as well.
