Hi people

I bought this engine

used so I meed your help in order to operate it. I want high RPM because I love extreme speed prop planes.

- Coul you say me how to Tuning the exhaust system. I used and tuned engines with tuned pipes like Macs(www.macspro.com) which are made of two cones (opposite each other). Movarrossi tuned pipe is different,I can' t see the "baffle cone", an also have 3 marks (streaps) in the end.

What is the recomended prop for this engine and RPM range? I want a fast model, so I want to use a small diameter and high pitch propeller.

What is the most suitable fuel, nitro %? 5%, 10%, 15%? CASTOR OR SYNTETIC OIL.

Finally, give me any other opinion about the engine.

Sorry for grammar mistakes, I speak spanish and I am an english student.

this pipe is of single cone design, the three ridges on the pipe are where baffles are fixed, they act as the converging cone and as the muffling section as well, tune as any other pipe, shortening header and using a tach. the nitro content depends on how many shims are used, and the oil should be 18-20 percent, some of the euro's use 12-15 synth oil, such as micro motul oil. try some 9x8 props for initial tests.
