Default needful things for speedfreaks like us

i thought that maybe a thread with links to technical data regarding tools or sources for going faster would be a nice resource for those who are new or havent been in the sport for very long, or just need to feed their inner speedgeek jones

as follows

the java pipe designer, with embedded links=http://www.mh-aerotools.de/airfoils/javapipe_en.htm

NASS=http://www.clspeed.com/, has a great link to parts sources I.E. props and engine work etc

http://forums.delphiforums.com/flyfast

feel free to post others as well

Bill W used to hang out there IIRC. Glen Dye and Scott Newkirk have been a great deal of help to me. At the time I was getting information about how to set up the G&Z .061 and guys were sending all kinds of old articles up and chiming in with tips. They are a little behind us in what a RC plane needs , but these guys know how to get rpm. Glen Dye showed me how to get another 2,000 from a K&B 6.5.

There must be some real good RC speed forums in Europe?

Darrol Cady has a good website with specialty equipment
Big Bruce Racing
Performance Specialties..
Doug Galbreath
North American Speed Society
Matney Models
Mike's RC

Guys who want to go really fast need to just work the bay. There are so many great deals out there on real speed engines, not just the "wannabee speed" stuff.
Now that I've already exceeded my budget, all sorts of great stuff is going for a song now.........[:@]

I watched a nearly new OPS .45 DF go for $70 when I was too slow bidding. [sm=cry_smile.gif]

Dummy.
