Default OS Four Stroke Plug in an OS 25 FX?

Im trying to get all the power I can out of this engine without making any internal mods or changing the carb. Will a four stroke plug help as long as it doesnt hit anything?

I used a 4 stroke plug in my os32 heli engine....It worked great.
Just make sure it doesn`t hit the piston.

A 4 stroke plug would work ok, but I would think that you could get better performance with a different plug.

A couple worth trying would be:

K&B 1L
K&B HP
K&B 1L short
McCoy #9

These are all relatively cold plugs, that like higher nitro 15%-20% and work well on the 25 fx at higher rpms. I would try and find a prop that turns in the 15,500 range. An apc 8x6 or apc 7.8"x6 should get you in that ballpark. Using a short plug on this engine is kinda like raising your head, without raising it. I have found that to be effective depending on the days weather.
