Guys, You caught us - the manual is a misprint on the wingspan.

What are the chances that I won't have to buy another spinner to use with my Jett .56??

Bill,
take a look at the new ad in the MA mag, it to shows the specs as a 63 in wingspan
690 square in wing area. 7.5lb
some people will buy this plane based on those spec, but get pretty upset when they find out they got a rocket with high wing loading.

The questions you have to ask yourself are:

1) will you transport the plane whole or with the wing off?
2) will it matter if the gear stays up or comes down when the plane is dissassembled??

I too read the add, but knew from looking at the pictures that the wingspan, that the numbers did not match the pictures. It will have a wing loading like a rock, and needs to shed a few pounds to really fly decent. CF tubes are a good starting place for the weight loss.

Summer,
Do you think that the supplied spinner will go safe to use on a Jett .56?

if it's anything like the H9 P51 spinner i got, i'd run it with no hesitation.
they're making good quality stuff.

Well, I went ahead and returned my electric retracts and ordered the han500 robarts with spring down. Apparently these are the ones they have been using for testing. Horizon had them in stock. They are HAN500 at horizon..just fyi
