Default Uh-oh... this is not a Diamond Dust

I posted earlier about my DD exploding in flight. It looked like the covering peeled off. This DD was purchased here on RCU already built.

Well, it's not a DD. It's all balsa, aside from the motor mount and servo rails. It seems well made. Gussets in the corners but no kevlar thread.

Would a balsa DD survive? I'm pretty sure this person has sold a few of these here on RCU. I'd hate to let this slide and find out that someone lost there JET 50 in the woods when there imitaion DD lost it.

Again, it seems well made. And I did land in the weeds a few times. So it could have been a puncture. But ya know, this doesn't feel right.
