I have a sheeted Diamond Dust that I have installed a Rossi .46 side exhaust with 9x8 prop, 8 oz fuel tank and two 9202 srevos on mains, standard for throttle and 800 mah battery and 127df reciever, the plane comes in at 4.5 lbs and I need to find the balance point. any suggestions appreciated

Well even at that weight, I'd still balance it where the plans show..from about 1" in front of the front spar to right on the front spar.

I'll be interested to hear how it flies at 4.5 lbs. Mine with a Picco 45 RIRE and pipe came in at 2.25. Wasn't sheeted though.

Hi Ken!

I can tell you mine flies best when balanced right on the front spar.

If yours is sheeted I don't know if you will be able to determine that point.

I held mine up to the light and was able to measure the center of the front spar at 15 1/2" forward of the elevon trailing edge.
