Whiplash shipping
1 Attachment(s)
I sold the Whiplash last week. And it did not have its original box.
This is what I did..... Obtain a bicycle box and cut it down to required size & tape up any holes. Place a block of foam in the bottom center for the nose of the whip to rest. Put the fin, hardware and fuel tank in a suitable box and tape it into a corner. Cover the wings of the Whiplash with cardboard . Use foam pipe insulation to protect leading trailing edges and wing tips. Tape foam to cardboard. Fit a block of foam between the motor mount rails. Place the whiplash into the box. Cut and fit a block of foam to center the trailing edge in the box. Back fill shipping box with foam peanuts. Carefully load the box into your truck and take it to Fed-Ex. |

RE: Whiplash shipping
Hats off to you Bob for the effort made in packing and shipping this item.
I am the buyer of the Whiplash and I can tell you that it was packaged better than the one I bought from the manufacturer. Bought this one for a spare since they are not available anymore. Again Thank you Bob. |
