im kind interested in the magnum
my question is what kind of speed could i expect to get out of one with some type of cheaper pro 46 sized engine i dont want to spend more than like $ :p 120 for an engine would a set up like this fly in the 160- 170 range or is that too optomistic

Mine flies great at half trottle, very quick too!! I think a Q500 MVVS motor would do very well on it too. The combo of the plane, pipe and motor at $315 is a good deal though....

the tuned MVVS 40's do very well, not a huge diffrence on the flat, just in climbs, but thats because we have a West 50 to compaire it too.
Even a piped 36 would drag it round nicely, but you kinda loose the point then

If you already have a engine like a 40 or 46 is Ok .......

But if you are planing to buy a engine for this airplane, think about it.
How much you are planing to spend in a cheaper pro 46 sized engine???

The Combo deal is $315.00
The Airplane alone is $120.oo So for the other $195.oo you get a Tune Pipe and a Webra 50 (West 50) that produce 2.8BHP and 23,000 RPM
