RPM limits for wooden props??

Hi guys,
Are there any rpm limits for the wooden props? I know for APC-props there is a rpm limit of 190000/diameter.

Thanks, Amir

I am sure there are limits, but I have never had a maple prop fail [due to rpm] while playing in the low 20's with a .35-.40 engine. If a wood prop were to be shaved down in thickness to compete with a CF prop, then you are first asking for auto-depitching [flexing] and ultimately breakage.

I say... knock yourself out... an report us with your findings... there are no rpm limits on wooden props, but there are structural/aerodynamical limits.
