Webra Speed 55 GT

Anyone know anything about this engine ? Here's a link [link=http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByCategory/Product/Default.aspx?ProdID=WEBE1026GT]Webra Speed 55.[/link] Looks a bit like the Weston 50.

I think someone once told me the west uses the webra casing and I recall Bobs 27 saying something along the same line too.

RE: Webra Speed 55 GT

I have one !
I like it very much. Good throttling behaviour. It's lighter and more powerful than my Rossi .53 with full length tuned pipe.
It is a -40 size case ! Drops in the same motor mount as my ST .40!
the Webra revs 18.300 on 5% with apc 9*8 and with Jett SS tuned muffler (the black one)
My Rossi didn't reach those rpms.
Webra is about 80g, nearly 3 oz's lighter so it will be the choice in my Patriot .40 (when I repair it...)
I will then be able, and happy! to remove the same amount of lead in tail making the ship over 7 oz's lighter!! It will be interesting to fly it, lighter and more power up front!

That is definitely an impressive performance....the Weston and the Webra's
are kicking out some big numbers. ;)
