Hello,
Have anyone ever seen a Scande Demon, and how fast are they. I found one up for auction on line and it looks interesting. I looks like a real nice job and has an OS 10 in it.

never flew one myself, but a freind had and said they are very ill handling. another freind has two and won't fly either of them!---henry

I built one with an mvvs 15 with tuned pipe. Unmanageable in the air. Almost impossible to fly. I used micro equipment in it and it still felt heavy for the size of the plane. It did not take off very well, sagged alot. I crashed it 3 times before I decided to remove the engine and equipment before it was a total loss. Couldn't give it away at my club, so I trashed it. Stick with whiplash, diamond dust and shrikes. they fly well. Just my opinion.

Hi Guys,
Gee i don't understand it, there are 5 in my club and we have a ball wit it. I personally have two, 1 with a ASP 12 and the other a Enya 09. The one with the Enya is my loan out plane for the guys that want to try it.
All of them fly great, I wonder why yours did not go well. Matter of fact, Jimmie is building an even smaller one just to try it. It will have a 14" span and fly on a Tee Dee 09 R/C.

Mine Flew Great!
 

I had one with an OS 10 FP on it, and it flew great. The only issue was that I had to reflex the ailerons and elevator up about 1/16" to get it trimmed. Would do the neatest spin...pull it straight up and just before it ran out of speed full up and full aileron. The spin axis was about 1/3 out on the wing, and very flat. Release the controls and it would point down and flip-flop a couple of times in the vertical. A blast to fly, and very economical.

Hi Guys,
I have one too and love it. Mine has a ASP 15 in it and is a missle. i run Kavan 6/5 props and nobody can believe how fast the plane is. I found one online, ready to fly with an OS 10 on the *bay site. The guy selling it is COACHMAN . Looks like a real nice job with a OS 10 in it. Even says it is silk and dope. Can't believe it is only $55 right now. Says it even has a battery.
