Need Help on a TT46 Pro!!
Well i got this engine and well, it was filthy, full of dirt, sand, slimy, the usual gunk. I heard from a friend about cleaning a engine in a crock pot full of anti freeze and decided to do just that so i took apart the engine and while i was taking off the carburetor i lost track of my thoughts and unscrewed the wrong screw. I ended up unscrewing the mid range and have absolutely no clue what the normal setting on it is.
So all in all i need to know what the mid range should be set on to start with,on a 46 tt pro. Thanks, Darion. Sorry if im in the wrong forum, since it came off a Patriot i figured it would go good in here anyways. |
RE: Need Help on a TT46 Pro!!
Doesn't matter what the factory settings are. After you get it all back together, do this. Open the high end a couple turns. Then close the low end completely. Hook up a fuel tube to the carb nipple long enough for you to blow into.
Now at the same time----blow into the tube and open the low end screw untilyou here a hissing noice in the carb. With this, your low end should be set well enough to start it up and adjust it from their. |
