Rossi .40?

My stepdads cousin has a rossi .40 engine. I know how to fly. I have flown a couple of different types of planes. My trainer being my favorite one to fly. I have been thinking about buying this engine from him. He said he would sell it to me for $50. Is it worth it? I am wanting to design my own plane and slap it on it. I am wanting an engine that I can get going FAST. My fellow club members do not like me much as it is so I am wanting something that will be so fast it is irritating while they are flying... lol. Thanks

I have one and they are powerful, albeit a heavy engine. It's rated for 1.9 hp and it runs best on 5% nitro. Mine usually starts with a light flick of the finger and runs flawlessly. If want even more power, put a tuned pipe on it. [8D] Excellent engine.
