retracts for ak su-27

just got my kit in and this thing is off the hook!. building will start tonight! my only question is the instructions say to use spring air 701 retracts while the plans say use spring air 101? so which is it? and any idea how much trouble it would be to use some mechinical retracts or something alittle cheaper? also was planning of using a sk-90 engine with a jett muffler any objections?? thanks

I used 102 HD spring air with fire wall mounted nose gear in my SU worked fine.

mechanical gear do not end up being cheaper - and in this installation are simpy a headache. Stick with the spring airs.
