What should i expect from this setup ??

Hi Guys,

Ok after a bit of a long lay up, ive got back into things again............. i own a few fastish planes, such as the Magnum althou with a slow engine :(, and SAS Delta with a 46 FX

The question is i have this Weston Uk Tigershark as pictured below, and ive put a Rossi 53 Engine upfront with a full length tuned pipe, as can be seen in the pics............ i flew the tigershark before with a 46 2 stroke in and wasnt too impressed with the speed hence the change in engine.

What should i expect from this ? ie : Speed, how it should fly etc......... so anyone ideas will be welcome before i venture out to the field :).......... It looks fast, althou ive never run a Rossi before, so im not sure how they perform compared to other 2 strokes............

Thx in advance for any advice guys..

A lot will depend on the prop, what size APC you got there?

Probably not much of an increase in speed from an average .46. Change to a 9x7 or 8x8 or 8x9 and you'll be on the pipe and you'll get more speed. Remember with speed the controls are more sensitive....

make sure you run 5% nitro or less. Rossi's do not like alot of nitro.
They are high compression european motors.
If you run any higher nitro, add head shims or you will have a tuning nightmare!!!
