No news to me there Speedy, I used to formulate and blend epoxy resins and structural adhesives years ago, and worked with urethane systems as well. Many of the special epoxies revered by modellers are no more than downpack product, with curatives that will function well despite relatively crude volumetric mixing by the end user. I love the word "System" - as soon as the manufacturer puts that on the label, you know you got the good stuff.. :rolleyes:

As far as Polane and other PU coatings go.. I can imagine the mayhem if isocyanate curative systems were off the LHS shelf. Even using reasonable precautions, I had an anaphylactic reaction to a particular HMDI curative once, that was fun. Off to emerg for the magic adrenaline shot.

So far the only problem I see with flyingmachine's fleet is that the engines are all the correct displacement for the aircraft. This will need some work. :o But they are definitely in the correct spirit, so welcome to the fray.

3.11oz RTF with 5g of 35% nitro on board

Short clip of the pass at 41.700 to 41,985 rpm perhaps someone has some good software to confirm my efforts.

For the TD .010 this is skorchin some air, taken from the 5th test flight
from progressively tweaking the needle to the sweet spot.
