One of the last SA F-20's
 
Well, I lost my original Sportsman Aviation F-20 last Fall. I've noticed that Hobby People doesn't show them anymore on their website. I called them and found that they discontinued the F-20 (first time for me to know) unfortunatly. So I asked if they had any left over in stock. She said there were a couple left at one of the stores in Californa. So I swiped up one of the last produced SA F-20's and it should be here next week.

Best part about it, since it's discontinued, SA dropped the price to $99. I should have got two! I paid $160 I think on the first one I had. Too bad they discontinued them, their F-20, so far, has been the best RC plane I've ever had.

Nope, it's a Pheonix. I have a NIB Sportsman as well, will be getting it going this year as well.

It was probably "canned" because of the original design being owned by Juno. Because that's the only plane that Sportsman Aviation has discontinued from what I can tell.

It's a shame, because I like the fact that I don't have to build and cover the plane like Junos kit. It's simple and easy. Plus it is more aerodynamic and has a shorter "sport" wing compared to the Pheonix version.

I have the SA version with an OS 46 ax on it ,,, flys great,,, gonna get a Jett 50 and put on it this spring,,,,, weeeeeee!!!

I found the SoCal store that had the last F-20 Tigersharks. They had them priced for closeout so I bought both of them. I only need one so if anybody wants the other one send me an email at [email protected].

I think I'll try to get mine flying in time for the Revver Fest at Rabbit.
