i need ideas.....
I got a Magnum wing that was snapped on a low pass, i thought i'd have to take 4" off to rejoin it, but its ok, drying now...
i need ideas, i was just gonna stick my 21 ( bigest engine i have spare ) on it as a delta. but i found the two tail surfaces of an old dead speed plane, cleaning these up made me think, low wing, simple box fuz, V tail. think my 21 may be a bit small for a full size wing. if someone has a real nice shaped fuz or idea i might stretch to a 36 of some description..
other ideas inculde a small version of my mid engine thought ( not quick enough to build ) and a mid mounted mid prop ( same thing )
lets see some swoopy sexy fuz's i might use

Something like this might work for speed. 36 1/2" long.
It's a "sloper" fuse....one piece fiberglass (light).

With that fuse it would need some pretty serious fairings I guess...

a have a ridgerunt box in my shed and that fuz pic already caught my eye...
I will have a propper Magnum by the end of the weekend so I'm not looking to build something like that now...
i think i'll use my 21 with an option to swap to a 36 in the future, i have two tailplane half's from an old project which look good as v fins, thinking low wing, short fuz, high up v-tail. whether i go with just V-fins or V-tail I'm not sure yet. The wind tunnel in my head isn't sure about a Magnum wing turned delta with bigger elevons, and then having a v-tail that does nothing, if this would screw the control or no and if i should have standard CofG or Delta CofG.
