Props at high RPM
 

Hi Guys

I am new to "extreme speed prop planes" and have a question regarding prop selection.

I have read adout 8x8, 8x9 etc are these the APC C-2 sport type props or are they the D-1 pylon props ?

I have raced off and on for some time and the C-2 sport props were banned on the Nelson/Dub Jett type of racing engines because of throwing blades in flight.....

I have a Magnum with the Weston 50 and it is quite fast. I am using a APC D-2 8,75 x 7,5w prop. this prop seems too small and I was wondering what you guys could recomend.

you may want to try some smaller APC props with more pitch.

These are both D-1 hub props
