can you recomend an engine

i have 25% (71"=6ft) extra 300xs and i would like a petrol engine because of the economical side but i think there a bit heavy. I now about the best Gasser would be a zdz40 but could any one recomend a powerful enough glo engine to hover and also could you tell me what the tank size and the flight time etc.

Thanks - Paddy

You would probably need a Super Tiger 4500 to hover
that baby.....although no longer in production....they can
be found.... ;)

Moki 2.1

A Moki 2.1 would do it easily. I had one in a Hanger 9 Edge 540 (78" or so wingspan) and it would hover it at 1/2 throttle and I fly at 5000 feet (~1500 m) above sea level. The moki burns about 2.5 oz. per minute at full throttle. I was very rearly at full throttle and would get 12-15 min. flights on a 24 oz tank.
